defense firm, and U.K.-based Malloy Aeronautics, an aeronautical 
engineering firm, to announce that the two companies have teamed up on 
the development of Hoverbike technology for the U.S. Department of 
Defense. </span></div>

<span style="font-size: 1.2em;">SURVICE and Malloy are working on the <a class="" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7aIXvyBC64" rel="nofollow" style="font-weight: bold;" target="_blank">Hoverbike</a> as part of an ongoing research and development contract with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory.  </span></div>

about 45 minutes on one tank of fuel and is expected to come with a

 was bolted on top of one downward-facing fan in his workshop and was 
able to lift more than 117lbs (53kg) to Furze's surprise.</span></div>

 the inventor noted: 'The propellers are pushing against the ground and 
are quite close to the floor, but the higher they go, the less this 
ground effect is going to be because they're going to be pushing against
 air rather than a solid surface.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: 1.2em;">'So lifting things is going to become more difficult the higher it gets off the ground.</span></div>
