Images of the circular 
rotorcraft appeared online on the eve of the fifth China Helicopter 
Exposition, which officially opened in Tianjin on Thursday. While in the
 <i>“initial stage of its design,”</i> according to the machine-translated sign at the exhibit, it is supposed to draw on the <i>“mature”</i> design technologies used in the contemporary US and Russian attack and cargo helicopters.<br />

A
 cutaway schematic of the vehicle that has circulated on the Chinese 
internet shows two pilots seated in the cockpit mounted in the middle of
 a giant rotor, encased in the saucer-like body of the helicopter.<br />

All of the images and video from Tianjin show the prototype sitting 
on the ground, rather than in flight. If it actually takes to the skies,
 this would mean that Chinese helicopter designers have finally solved 
the challenge of making a functioning rotorcraft – something that has 
baffled Western inventors since the Second World War.<br />
The most famous of these experiments has to be the VZ-9 Avrocar, the <i>“flying saucer”</i>
 developed by Avro Canada in 1958 as a secret weapon for the Cold War. 
It never overcame the thrust and stability problems, however, and was 
canceled in 1961.<br />
<br />
As for the ‘Super Great White Shark,’ some social media users have 
already noted that it resembles the Roomba family of robotic vacuum 
cleaners far more than the deep-sea predator it was named after.<br />

A falling UFO eerily reminiscent of a scene from an iconic movie has been captured on camera.</div>

Strange footage has revealed what appears to be a large black object plunging into the Earth from the middle of a rainbow.</div>

There'll be an Earthly, sane, explanation. But it's way, way, too big to
 be a bird.'</div>

Manual, said: 'The video does make it look like this is something solid 
falling from the sky, like one of the Martian cylinders in The War of

‘Secret UFO Video’ from 1996 Space Shuttle Mission

That headline comes from a <a href="https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/weird-news/694430/news-ufo-aliens-lie-detector-test-buzz-aldrin-astronauts" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Daily Star article</a>
 referring to a “lie detector test” conducted by The Institute of 
BioAcoustic Biology in Albany, Ohio, on astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Al 
Worden, Edgar Mitchell and Gordon Cooper. All at one time or another 
claimed to have seen UFOs during their space missions.<br />
However, the 
so-called lie detector tests may be that in only the loosest sense of 
the word as this latest technology, as pointed out by Micah Hanks at <a href="http://mysteriousuniverse.org/2018/04/aldrins-aliens-a-deeper-look-at-one-astronauts-famous-ufo-sighting/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Mysterious Universe</a>,
 was actually conducted on voice recordings of the men talking about 
their alleged encounters since Mitchell and Gordon are both deceased and
 their stories cannot be tested using more conventional lie detectors.<br />

That headline comes from a <a href="https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/weird-news/694669/Alien-news-NASA-releases-video-UFO-1969-space-mission-Buzz-Aldrin" rel="noopener" target="_blank">follow-up article</a>
 the following day by the same Daily Star, which could use a proofreader
 as well as that “latest technology” lie detector. While the date says 
“1969,” which was the year of Buzz Aldrin’s alleged UFO sighting, the 
“video” it refers to is actually from the Space Shuttle mission STS-77 
in 1996.<br />

That apparent juxtaposition of the numbers in the year is not the 
only problem with this article. While it’s true that NASA released this 
<span style="background-color: #fff2cc;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b>video (seen <a href="https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/weird-news/694669/Alien-news-NASA-releases-video-UFO-1969-space-mission-Buzz-Aldrin" rel="noopener" target="_blank">here</a>)</b></span></span>, it was not a recent release.<br />
<br />
It’s actually been around since 1996 and was the subject of a <a href="https://www.popularmechanics.com/space/a4298/4319637/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Popular Mechanics</a>
 debunking in 2009 in which identified the UFO as the Passive 
Aerodynamically Stabilized Magnetically Damped/Satellite Test 
Unit(PAM/STU), whose launch and deployment was tracked by shuttle 
cameras and narrated by the astronauts, who often referred to it as the 
“target” – a common military term for just about everything being 
watched, not just enemies and UFOs.<br />
<br />
It’s too bad we’re forced to look at these sensationalized clips when
 so much of what was studied on these Space Shuttle missions was only 
lightly covered at the time and not at all today. <a href="https://www.jsc.nasa.gov/history/shuttle_pk/pk/Flight_077_STS-077_Press_Kit.pdf" rel="noopener" target="_blank">STS-77</a>,
 the 77th of 134 missions, tested one of the early inflatable space 
structures so common today and performed experiments developed jointly 
by numerous countries.<br />
<br />
The astronauts even had some fun working with a 
Fluids Generic Bioprocessing Apparatus-2 (FGBA-2) to determine if 
separately stored carbon dioxide, water and thick liquids could be 
combined in space and consumed without bubble nucleation and resulting 
foam formation. In other words, they tried (successfully) to make 
Coca-Cola and Diet Coke in space.<br />

Sure, exploration is the ultimate goal of all space programs, but the
 mundane groundwork and testing is crucial to future success. It’s also a
 place for many to be a part of the space program – while Neil and Buzz 
stepped onto the lunar surface, one of the most remembered videos was of
 the many people in the control room celebrating the success of the 
project so many had worked so hard to achieve.<br />
<br />
It’s time to get back to developing new interest in space 
exploration, space science and space technologies instead of rehashing 
old (and misleading) events. As a different <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114709/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Buzz once said</a> (and you don’t need a lie detector test to prove it).<br />

and MUFON has recorded the incident in its database. In the video, two 
pairs of lights are visible on either side of a brighter central pair, 
all of which appear to hover together in a v-formation. </span><br />

<span style="font-weight: 400;">“Whatever it is,
 it seems to be dropping,” says an unidentified man filming the clip. 
“I’d like to know what the heck those six lights are.” Me too, buddy. Me
 too. Unfortunately, with only one eyewitness and one dark video to go 
on, it’s doubtful we ever will.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Another UFO YouTube channel, 
TheHiddenUnderbelly, calls the lights a “huge mothership.” While that’d 
be great, the chances are higher that this video shows something more 
banal. A group of drones? Probably. Military testing? Possibly, although
 the many military bases in North Carolina are much farther to the east 
along the coastal region of the state. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Why would experimental craft 
carry out exercises so far from protected airspace? For that matter, why
 would an alien mothership hover in the skies above a one-stoplight town
 far from major metropolitan areas?</span><br />

Though it may come as a surprise to many, debates surrounding 
extraterrestrial invasion are not restricted to the UFO community and 
Hollywood. In recent years, mainstream science and even the US defense 
establishment have openly discussed ‘falling skies’ scenarios and what 
humanity might do to repel potential alien aggressors.<br />
<br />
The late, great Sir Stephen Hawking was perhaps the most high-profile
 individual to warn of the potential dangers of extraterrestrial 
contact. In April 2010, Hawking made <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/space/7631252/Stephen-Hawking-alien-life-is-out-there-scientist-warns.html">international news</a>
 by stating his firm belief that humanity should seek to avoid any form 
of interaction with aliens. In an episode of the Discovery Channel’s<i> Into the Universe</i> <i>with Stephen Hawking</i>,
 the professor said: “If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would
 be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which 
didn’t turn out very well for the American Indians.” Hawking suggested 
that aliens “might exist in massive ships, having used up all the 
resources from their home planet” and would perhaps be “looking to 
conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach.”<br />
<br />
Hawking’s anti-alien comments captured the attention of Hollywood 
and, later that same year, were incorporated into the marketing campaign
 for the alien invasion blockbuster, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1564585/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1"><i>Skyline</i></a>
 (2010). The trailer for the film begins with bold text against a cosmic
 backdrop, reading: “On 28 August 2009, NASA sent a message into space 
farther than we ever thought possible in an effort to reach 
extraterrestrial life.”<br />

This is true. On the date specified, the Australian government, through its “<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hello_from_Earth">Hello from Earth</a>”
 science initiative, and with the help of NASA, sent some 26,000 
carefully vetted messages from the public to the extra-solar Earth-like 
planet Gliese 581d in a single transmission. This proactive approach to 
alien contact, known as METI (Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence), 
differs from the traditional passive approach favored by SETI (Search 
for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), which devotes its efforts simply to 
listening for any potential incoming alien signals. Stephen Hawking was 
not a fan of the METI approach as he considered it unwise to knowingly 
alert our presence in the galaxy to any technologically superior 
civilizations.<br />

In a bid to blur fact and fantasy for viral marketing purposes, <i>Skyline</i>
 made use of Hawking’s comments in its trailer, which featured well 
known American newsreaders—including Dan Rather—citing the famed 
professor on the potential dangers of extraterrestrial contact. The 
trailer then cuts to panoramic views of an American city being 
obliterated by dozens of the “massive ships” to which Hawking had 
referred. Against a black screen, and again referring to the professor’s
 warning, bold text then reads: “Maybe we should have listened.”<br />
<br />
<i>Skyline</i> wasn’t the only movie to draw inspiration from METI 
initiative, or from Hawking’s dire warnings against phoning E.T. The 
2012 movie, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1440129/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1"><i>Battleship</i></a>,
 opens with a scene in which NASA prepares to transmit a signal to the 
Gliese system, exactly as the space agency had done in real life 
two-years prior. In the movie, a wise-cracking scientist paraphrases 
Stephen Hawking, quipping, “it’s going to be like Columbus and the 
Indians—only we’re the Indians.” But the signal is sent anyway, and NASA
 gives itself a hearty pat on the back. Needless to say, alien contact 
ensues, and it ain’t pretty.<br />

In April 2012, a month before the release of <i>Battleship</i> in 
American cinemas, Professor Paul Springer of the US Air Command and 
Staff College was granted special clearance by his employers at the 
Pentagon to discuss how the military would respond in the event of an 
alien invasion. Springer’s comments were aired in a televised interview 
for Australia’s Channel 9.<br />
When asked by his interviewer exactly how an alien invasion might unfold, Springer replied:<br />

“That really depends on why they are here in the first 
place. If they are here for the extraction of a specific resource, for 
example, they might just want to eliminate any resistance that might 
block them from their objective. If, on the other hand, their goal was 
actual occupation and conquest, then they would probably have to 
prioritize anything they perceive as a threat to their own dominance. 
So, they would probably start by wiping out as many communications 
networks as possible and eliminating as many weapons that might 
represent some form of threat either to them, or to the resources they 
are trying to extract.”</blockquote>

However, any plans the Pentagon may have drawn to fight-off evil 
aliens are almost certainly in vein. If any aliens out there do harbor 
plans for invasion, it is probable that their tactics and technology 
would make any resistance on our part entirely futile. “If they are 
hostile,” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvnzyXnkQVA">warns Professor Michio Kaku</a><span style="margin-left: 5px; margin: 0; padding: 0;"></span>,
 “it would be like Bambi meeting Godzilla if we ever had to fight them… 
we would present no military challenge to such an advanced civilization…
 We would be a pushover for them. Forget all the Hollywood movies.”<br />

In my book, <i><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Silver-Screen-Saucers-Sorting-Hollywoods/dp/1910121118/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493935423&sr=8-1&keywords=silver+screen+saucers">Silver Screen Saucers</a></i>,
 I take Hollywood to task for its simplistic, pumped-up depictions of 
how an interstellar civilization might invade our planet. If aliens 
should ever decide to attack Earth for its natural resources (water, 
minerals, human DNA, etc.), it seems unlikely in the extreme that they 
would opt for the scorched earth approach depicted in the likes of <i>War of the Worlds</i> and<i> Independence Day</i>.
 Actually, it seems improbable that the aliens would launch air strikes 
at all, let alone anything so messy as the ground invasions seen in, 
say, <i>Falling Skies</i> or <i>Battle: Los Angeles</i>. Any tactics
 that would provoke a military response from Earth’s leaders would 
probably result in damage to the very resources the aliens are seeking 
to acquire, especially if weapons of mass destruction are used by either
 side.<br />

Even if the aliens’ goal is simply to eradicate humanity, direct 
engagement with our military forces would likely be entirely 
unnecessary. Many UFO movies depict aliens using psychic forces to harm 
or control those around them—but if real aliens have developed advanced 
psychic abilities, might they be able to use these on a mass scale? If 
so, our psychically puny species would be conquered within a matter of 
hours, or instantly, even.<br />
<br />
Possible psychic abilities aside, advanced ETs might very well have 
psychotronic and psychotropic weapons with which to attack the mind, or 
even weapons that target specific parts of the body, both external and 
internal—even the heart or brain—causing targets to fall down dead en 
masse, and all without inflicting so much as a scratch on the skin. 
There would be no resistance from us, and minimal effort on their part. 
For Hollywood’s purposes, however, such scenarios are utterly lacking in
 spectacle and drama.<br />
<br />
In his later years, Stephen Hawking remained firm in his stance that 
the universe is likely teeming with life, some of it intelligent, but he
 was less optimistic about the inherent benevolence of advanced ET 
civilizations, believing that advanced technology does not necessarily 
go hand-in-hand with moral and ethical enlightenment.<br />

Before Hawking died, former SETI director Jill Tarter (the real-life 
Ellie Arroway from Contact) voiced her disagreement with the Cambridge 
professor about the probable nature of any future alien contact 
scenarios. Tarter also advised the public to disregard Hollywood 
entirely as an even remotely realistic representation of what to expect 
on contact day. “Often the aliens of science fiction say more about us 
than they do about themselves,” Tarter remarked on the <a href="https://www.seti.org/node/1288">SETI website</a>
 in 2012. “While Sir Stephen Hawking warned that alien life might try to
 conquer or colonize Earth, I respectfully disagree. If aliens were able
 to visit Earth that would mean they would have technological 
capabilities sophisticated enough not to need slaves, food, or other 
planets. If aliens were to come here it would be simply to explore.”<br />

Tarter added: “Considering the age of the universe, we probably

According to the details of the video, which is reportedly from 2015,
 the Navy F/A-18 jet was engaged in a right turn while intercepting the 
unidentified flying object, which was streaking above the water with no 
visible wings or signs of a combustion engine 4.4 nautical miles away. 
You can hear the pilots appropriately losing their minds.<br />

Cmdr. David Fravor, who was a Navy pilot for 18 years, <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2017/12/18/former-navy-pilot-describes-encounter-with-ufo-studied-by-secret-pentagon-program/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">told</a>
 The Washington Post he saw the mysterious flying object while on a 
routine training mission off the Pacific coast between San Diego and 
Ensenada, Mexico, in November 2004.<br />

Fravor said he was ordered by command to do so some <em>“real-world tasking”</em> as there were unidentified flying objects descending from 80,000 feet to 20,000 feet and then disappearing.<br />
Officials
 told the former fighter pilot, who was the commanding officer of a Navy
 squadron of F/A-18 Hornet fighter planes at the time, they had 
encountered dozens of the objects over the previous few weeks.<br />
<br />
The object was roughly the same size as Fravor’s plane but it had no wings and looked like a Tic Tac mint. It was <em>“just hanging close to the water,”</em> he said.<br />
<em>“As I get closer, as my nose is starting to pull back up, it accelerates and it’s gone,” </em>he said.<em>
 “Faster than I’d ever seen anything in my life. We turn around, say 
let’s go see what’s in the water and there’s nothing. Just blue water.”</em><br />
<br />
Interestingly, he noted, it created no rotor wash – the air turbulence caused by the blades of a helicopter.<em>
 “This is revolutionary technology to be able to accelerate, go up and 
down. Think about the advances that would bring to mankind,”</em> he added.<br />

The Defense Department analyzed the encounter, but what the object was, or what it was doing, remains a mystery. <em>“I
 think someone should have looked into it. Having talked to some of the 
other folks, it’s a big frustration that it’s coming out now and wasn’t 
discussed back in 2004,”</em> Fravor said.<br />
He was keen to dispel any notions that he was an unreliable source. <em>“I
 don’t think I was a nut-job as an officer in the Navy. I wasn’t drunk, I
 don’t do drugs. I got a good night’s rest, it was a clear day”.</em><br />
Footage of the incident was later released by the US Defense Department.<br />

On Saturday, it emerged the Pentagon spent $22 million to study UFOs 
between 2007 and 2012. The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification 
Program was led by former military intelligence official Luiz Elizondo, 
who resigned from the Pentagon in October.<br />

In his resignation 
letter, which was seen by the New York Times and Politico, Elizondo 
lamented the lack of funding for the project and the fact that it 
continues to be shrouded in mystery. Speaking to CNN Monday evening, he <a href="http://edition.cnn.com/2017/12/18/politics/luis-elizondo-ufo-pentagon/index.html?sr=fbCNN121817luis-elizondo-ufo-pentagon0959PMVODtopLink">said</a> there is <em>"very compelling evidence that we may not be alone”.</em><br />

Elizondo said his program uncovered<em> "a lot”</em> of<em> "anomalous” </em>aircraft.<em>
 “These aircraft – we'll call them aircraft – are displaying 
characteristics that are not currently within the US inventory nor in 
any foreign inventory that we are aware of.”</em><br />

 alien fanatics Blake and Brett Cousins — renowned in the ufologist 
community for their YouTube account thirdphaseofmoon — published the 
baffling footage July 17.<br />

In the clip, a hazy object swims into view in the background of the 
ISS — while seemingly a mere line of burning orange orbs initially, 
quickly the shape of what appears to be a spacefaring vessel gains 
contour and colour.<br />

However, almost as soon as the unexplained entity gains definition, it melts back into the infinite darkness of space.<br />

The clip itself, the Cousins duo said, is sped up by 900 percent — the actual event lasted over nine minutes.<br />

The pair enlisted the expertise of a UFO aficionado to shed some 
light on what the apparent craft — which they claimed was "tracking" the
 station — might actually be.<br />

"First, when I was looking at it, I don't know 
exactly what I was looking at, but as the video progresses and you start
 to see things begin to move… you see these orange dots around it, and 
one in particular is above it, almost as if the light is going to the 
ISS. At the end of it, entire thing almost shrinks up a little bit. It 
could be a giant mothership, with those small orange balls being the 
Earth excursion ships that are always visiting us," the expert said.</div>
He went on to explain the "discs" typically seen by humans on Earth 
are in fact "little scout ships" released by motherships such as the one
 depicted in the video.<br />

The video attracted over 40,000 views in a mere two days 
following its upload date (July 17), with many viewers theorizing in the
 comments section as to what the incongruity could be.<br />

One was unequivocal and resolute — the sight was an "interstellar 
mothership" keeping an eye on NASA's activities. They went on to say 
NASA had lied about aliens ever since their first encounter with a UFO.<br />
<br />

"It's pretty obvious we're either a protected planet like a nature 
reserve or under the protection or rule of another alien race. People 
wonder how come so many different craft come here. It's like the aliens 
are not allowed to say 'hello.' Why? Because we have been ruled from day
 one and still are. Pretty simple logic. Other aliens probably visit us 
to look, but have an agreement to not contact us, hence crop circles, 
graffiti? They probably say, 'poor humans being slaves I wish we could 
tell them!'<br />

But it's much similar to the tribe that lives in the Andaman
 Islands, they have no contact with the rest of the world, they have no 
idea what's out there. Our governments won't let us say hello, and 
that's on Earth, so people don't be shocked that they are here but not 
allowed to speak to us, it's like the Earth is being run by Kim 
Jong-il," speculated user MrSonicseeds.<br />

However, some were more circumspect, if not outright cynical, 
suggesting the footage in fact, depicted a storm in the Earth's upper 
atmosphere.

Strange sights near the ISS are a common phenomenon. According to the
 channel chiefs, they have documented a panoply of similar, mysterious 
anomalies on many of the hundreds of occasions they have tuned in to the
 feeds — nonetheless, despite the apparent regularity of these 
incidents, NASA and other space agencies operating out of the ISS almost
 invariably refuse to address ufologists' claims directly, instead 
merely denying they have so far encountered aliens, or uncovered 
evidence of otherworldly visitations.<br />

Something strange has been lurking in the skies above the 
picturesque English county of Cornwall. And people have naturally begun 
to wonder if the odd shape shifting phenomenon is aliens, though it’s 
most likely a flock of birds – looks cool though.<br />

Twitter user Shane House posted this video while driving down the motorway in the southern county and wondered if it was a UFO.<br />
<br />
Some commentators were quick to point out that it was most likely a more worldly phenomenon – a murmuration of starlings to be precise.

That didn’t stop others posting similar videos asking the same question.

planet via the rings in order to "proliferate" — a situation he

His statements stem from a 17-minute-long video uploaded by YouTube 
conspiracy theory channel SecureTeam 10, which has almost 900,000 
subscribers, and describes itself as a source for "the best" in new UFO 
sighting, information on the "space cover-up" and all "strange activity"
 happening on and off the Earth.<br />

While the assertions of Dr. Bergrun, a distinguished Medical Engineer
 during his time at NASA's Ames Research Center, will likely be novel 
to many, he has in fact repeatedly made roughly the same declaration 
frequently over a 30-year span.<br />

In the clip, Dr. Bergrun speaks of "long cylindrical objects" in the
 rings that appear to have "exhaust systems" among other apparently 
amazing findings.<br />
In 1986, he penned the book <i>Ringmakers of Saturn</i>, which in addition to stating planetary rings were rife with alien craft, suggested such rings may ben in fact created by UFOs.<br />
Nonetheless, he previously made headlines on the same basis in 2016.<br />
At the time, he likewise said "these things" inhabit Saturn, Uranus 
and Jupiter, and that wherever planetary rings were found, "that's where
 I see the aircrafts… I call them a ringmaker."<br />

"I say it is electromagnetic because I can 
identify streamline patterns with respect to it I knew were what we 
called 'potential lines' — and that says it was electrical. I could tell
 that those lines demarked the outside of an object," he added.</div>

Claims of sightings of alien craft in pictures of planets are nothing new — in 2012,
 Leonid Ksanfomaliti of the Space Research Institute of Russia's Academy
 of Sciences published research analyzing the photos from a mission made
 by Soviet landing probe Venus-13 in 1982, which claimed several objects
 resembling living beings could be detected in the photos.<br />
<br />
The objects were said to resemble "a disk," "black flap" and "scorpion" — and change location between photos. However, NASA was <a href="https://sputniknews.com/science/20120125170941972/">quick to dismiss</a>
 Ksanfomaliti's sensational suggestions, saying the "disk" was in fact a
 lens cap, and the "scorpion" mere noise in the digital image.<br />
Moreover, in 2007, an individual allegedly named William Rutledge, 
who identified himself as a retired NASA astronaut living in exile 
in Rwanda, took to YouTube to claim he took part in a secret Apollo 
mission to explore the dark side of the moon.<br />
The voyage, which he claimed was jointly manned by US and Soviet 
astronauts, was said to have taken place in August 1976 — and was aimed 
at the exploration of a vast ancient city and a huge crashed spacecraft.<br />

His claims were supported by photographs of the lunar surface taken 
by Apollo 15 in 1971, which do appear to show strange anomalies in the 
Delporte-Izsak region in the southern region of the Moon's dark side, 
including an unusual cigar-shaped object situated on the edge of a 
crater.<br />
However, Dr. Bergrun's claims may be slightly more difficult 
to dismiss, given his CV suggests he is a gifted, decorated scientist.<br />
<br />
In addition to his time with NASA, he served on the National Advisory
 Committee for Aeronautics and an engineer with Lockheed Martin working 
on some of the US' most critical top secret projects.<br />
Still, grainy images of strange shapes in distorted pictures 
of planets are perhaps not the weightiest evidence to offer in support 
of the existence of alien craft within the Earth's solar system — yet 
that's just what Dr. Bergrun has to offer.<br />

 seems the CIA was keen to emphasize the importance of rapid but 
thorough reporting of any such sightings as a matter of national 
security, listing the four phases of air defense as: detection, 
identification, interception and destruction. The Unidentified Flying 
Object Program requires that all US Air Force (USAF) commanders adhere 
strictly to these guidelines.<br />

including those received from other agencies, governmental bodies or 
civilians.<br />
When reporting a sighting, the document states that the
 following data points must be specified and explained in as much detail
 as possible: shape, size, color, number, formation, distinct or unique 
features, any tail, trail or exhaust, any sounds and any other unusual 
features not covered by the preceding points.<br />

 USAF also highlights the three major reasons for taking UFO sightings 
so seriously: air defense and the elimination of any potential threats 
to the United States or its armed forces; to determine the technical or 
scientific characteristics of such UFOs and thus maintain military 
intelligence and technological dominance; to explain or identify all 
such instances in order to maintain strategic readiness in all 
eventualities.<br />

 it's been revealed that the CIA conducted a series of experiments to 
determine the feasibility and effectiveness of employing psychic spies 
to <i>“collect foreign intelligence information against documents shielded from normal perception,”</i> in a project code-named ‘Stargate.’<br />
These
 efforts weren’t limited to mere mortals, however, as none other than 
Israeli-born, celebrity psychic Uri Geller was brought in to test his 
psychic mettle against the researchers.<br />

They
 ranged from a firecracker to a bunch of grapes and even a quick sketch 
of our solar system. While Geller did have some surprising success 
throughout the experiments, the CIA decided not to pursue the research 
beyond its initial stage.<br />

 this all sounds familiar, that’s because it is; the 2009 film starring 
George Clooney and Ewan McGregor named 'The men who stare at goats' drew
 heavily from rumors and reports about psychic warfare research

 should be pointed out that they have been accessible since the year

On
 November 11, 2014, pilots spotted a strange object during a mission to 
patrol the coastal sector to the west ofа the Chilean capital of 
Santiago. The object was described as a flat elongated structure with 
two thermal centers. Ground radars did not detect the object. <br />
The
 object disappeared in the clouds as suddenly as it appeared. Having 
studied all the details, CEFAA experts found that the object was neither
 a bird, nor a piece of space garbage, insect, aircraft, parachutist, 
glider or atmospheric anomaly.  Concluding the report, the committee 
called the object "unidentified."</div>

Footage of a ball of light hovering over apartments in a 
residential area of Moscow has sparked the interest of alien hunters

The Taiwan UFOlogy Society (TUFOS) announced  that a 
photograph taken by a policeman at Jiaming Lake (嘉明湖) — located at an 
altitude of 3,310m  on the southern section of the Central Mountains in 
Taitung County — shows what appears to be a large alien creature, with a
 transparent body and webbed hands, walking in the distance.<br />
Due to its strange features, TUFOS executives say it does not look like a human being, but must have come from outer space.<br />

 chairman Huang Chao-ming (黃朝明) said the policeman gave them the photo, 
which was taken on his iPhone 4 mobile phone, for examination.<br />
