Tech firm reveals its vision of life in 2050

It is the year 2050, sex bots have ruined human relationships, clothes are sprayed on your body and you spend your weekends at a lawless adult amusement park.

Although the scenarios sound like the plot of a science fiction film, they are among many predictions futurologists have made about life just 33 years from now.

The project, called Earth 2050, highlights predictions for cities around the globe and different artefacts people could encounter in the not-so-distant future.

Amusement parks for adults will be a safe haven for people to get drunk in public, throw trash on the ground and shoot robots as a way to release stress – similar to theme park in the television series Westworld 

The interactive multimedia project was created by Kaspersky Lab, a global cybersecurity firm, in honor of its 20 years in the market.

To create Earth 2050, the team collaborated with futurologists such as Ian Pearson, other researchers and spoke with artists and scientists in order to capture a realistic view of what is yet to come.

'All of the forecasts you can find about Earth 2050 could become a reality in just a couple of decades. Earth 2050 is not only a creative exercise for us,' said Andrey Lavrentyev, head of the technology research department at Kaspersky Lab.

'For the last 20 years, Kaspersky Lab experts have been fighting cybercrime, and they have seen threats evolving over this time.'

'They are therefore able to share their knowledge, expertise and, in many cases, encourage users to take a more thorough look at the security of future technologies.

'Although inventions might be amazing – like driverless cars, intelligent infrastructure and the ability to instantly share medical data between doctors across the world – they can still trip us up.'

'Each of them brings new opportunities for cybercriminals to exploit.'

Many will agree that there is an abundance of cameras and authorities lurking around every corner.

However, by 2050 the excessive watching will spark the need for a special closed recreational area that lets people run wild.

According to the UK futurists, in 2050 sexual contacts between gadgets or robots will be more common that with other humans.

And Pearson believes this will be brought on by 'the spread of sex toys interacting with augmented and virtual reality'.

'The use of robots with the ability to dive into virtual reality will allow to unleash the imagination and spice up one's sex life,' he explained.

'For single people, it will give a chance not to exclude sex from their life, and for those who are in a relationship, to remain faithful to the partner.'

Although life in 2050 may sound extremely technical, new innovations will help make the easiest task even simpler – such as getting dressed.

Experts have suggested that we will move away from clothes in our drawers to garments in a spray bottle.

A container will be filled with a non-woven fabric that can be modeled directly on the body according to the user's personal style – making sure you never have nothing to wear. 

Another chore we might not have to do in the future is wash our socks.

Chinese engineers have developed a titanium dioxide coating that has self-cleaning, bacteria killing properties.

Socks and other articles of clothing could be covered in the solution, which would not only clear up stains when held up to sunlight, but the garments will never smell like they have been worn.

The future is also said to have homes with rooms that will rearrange themselves.

Apartments will be designed with cavity wall modules that hold different furniture and appliances.

Although all of the futuristic technology will improve our world, it may also come at a cost.

FEATURES OF THE ANALEMMA TOWER 

Analemma Tower will be suspended from an orbiting asteroid and hang down to the Earth.

It will travel in a figure eight pattern through the northern and southern hemispheres and pass over major cities such as Panama City, Havana, Atlanta and New York City.

The proposal calls for Analemma to first be constructed over Dubai, which has proven to be a specialist in tall building construction at one fifth the cost of New York City construction.

It is believed that skyscrapers will stand close to 30 miles high, as space travel and space ports will be coming.  A New York architecture firm unveiled designs for a skyscraper this month that is out of this world. Deemed the ‘world’s tallest building ever’, Analemma Tower will be suspended from an orbiting asteroid 31,068 miles (50,000 km) above the Earth– and the only way to leave is by parachute.

The massive skyscraper will be setup in sections and each with a designated purpose.

Business will be conducted at the lower end of the towers and sleeping quarters will be positioned two-thirds of the way up the building.

Residents will also have access to a gardening area, a place for worship and in the bottom level will be sections for dining, shopping and entertainment.

The architects plan to take full advantage of the skyscraper's location and will place solar panels at the upper most levels to generate power from the sun.

And residents will enjoy fresh water from condensation of clouds and rainwater, which will be collected and purified.

Because each person will be surrounded with a range of electronics and digital assistants, they will also be more susceptible to hacks.

Some of researchers involved with the project have predicted that hackers will use your personal information as a way to blackmail you.

The futurologists have also shared what they think will happen to some of the world's major cities by 2050 and according to the concept drawings it seems they also get a technology upgrade.

It is believed that skyscrapers will stand close to 30 miles high, as space travel and space ports will be coming.

'Ground and building transport will be almost entirely pod based and elevators might also be replaced by such pods using internal shafts and external surfaces,' Pearson said.
