New CM-780UNA missile system attracts exceptional attention in Zhuhai Airshow.
It is an anti-ship missile to be launched from the tornado tube of a submarine able to hit large and medium-sized warship including aircraft carrier.
It can also hit target close to coast.
It is said that the missile will mainly be used for export. The missile is quite attractive as it uses combined strapdown inertia and satellite navigation guidance, high-precision radar guided warhead, digital control and other new technologies and has a range of about 128km. Its advantages include good compatibility, highly concealed launch and high penetration capability and precision.
